As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, docks, and facility areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor activity, document observations, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services and completing required notifications.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, yards, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Control access at gates and entrances by verifying identification, coordinating visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during post handoff, and use required systems such as radios, phones, and/or access control tools.
