As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. This role requires carrying a firearm in accordance with all regulations, reflecting our commitment to reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required by law.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting any irregularities.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, local authorities, and Allied Universal management as needed.
Remain alert to unusual activity and/or conditions throughout the location, reporting concerns promptly according to procedures.
Adhere to all Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines for armed personnel, maintaining proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.
