As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and monitoring for unusual conditions.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or urgent situations as they arise.
