As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, document observations, and assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain required duty gear in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders and Allied Universal policies while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting and reporting security-related events per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Control access through screening and verification of credentials, monitor cameras and/or alarm systems and assist with visitor management and employee movement as directed by site policies.
