Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any security-related incidents or irregularities in accordance with site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while on patrol.
Operate as an armed security professional in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
