As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure environment for clients and staff. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
Observe and report any unusual occurrences, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and the public as needed during daily activities and/or emergency situations.
Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
