Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report on any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Interact with employees, visitors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner while supporting a secure environment.
Complete required documentation such as incident reports and daily activity logs in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing post duties.
