As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at an education campus location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professional service. You will document observations and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence halls as assigned, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus staff and/or local responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, manage visitor entry, and help direct students, staff, and guests while maintaining required logs and documentation.
• Complete detailed written reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
