As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in monitoring and assisting with the flow of people and materials. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including the perimeter and key operational areas, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance systems and report any unusual or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support loss prevention by maintaining awareness of inventory movement and reporting discrepancies or concerns.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel, providing directions or assistance as needed.
