As an unarmed patrol officer in a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related issues while assisting residents and guests with a helpful, customer-first approach. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team and property contacts, and respond to concerns with integrity and professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and/or local emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and community amenities, verifying authorization for entry and use, and assisting with visitor check-in, directions, and general inquiries.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, communicating noteworthy information to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
