As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover larger areas and support access control and visitor flow. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic by checking identification, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas per post orders.
• Observe alarms and/or camera systems when assigned, report irregular conditions, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events in written reports, and assist with incident scene control until additional resources arrive.
