You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents, and support access points while providing professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity as you work with teammates to help protect people, property, and operations.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • 1+ years’ law enforcement experience OR 2+ years’ security supervisor or manager experience OR 3+ years’ security experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangar and production areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and authorization, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing individuals to approved areas while following site rules for restricted spaces.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
