About The Position

As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry Monitor in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and verify identification of personnel and visitors as required by site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or incidents according to site procedures.
Collaborate with team members and site staff to support a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.
