Job Description As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry in Port Saint Lucie, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing excellent customer service, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to promote a secure environment. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
X ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of individuals and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with site-specific procedures and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents observed during assigned duties.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify security-related concerns.
Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
