As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the retail or mall environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Observe and report any unusual activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as required.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
