As a Security Guard - Government Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves driving as part of your daily responsibilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with all individuals on site. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel during incidents or drills as directed by site protocols.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
