Job Description As a Security Guard – Bank Lobby Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will deliver exceptional customer service while engaging with individuals on-site, utilizing technology such as computers or tablets as needed. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the financial institution setting.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors and employees, providing assistance and information as needed.
