As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for hospital positions.
  • Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate within the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations as directed by client protocols.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, following Allied Universal and client guidelines.
