As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will monitor access control and conduct routine patrols at a leading automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
Verify credentials and provide authorized entry to employees, visitors, and/or contractors as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions regarding access procedures and/or directions within the location.
Carry out security-related procedures and protocols as outlined by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activity as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities and communicate with appropriate personnel as needed.
