About The Position
Ensure visitors and entrees to the farm are following Bio-Security practices and protect the farm from unwanted visitors or trespassers.
Requirements
- Primarily assigned to a shift but will require flexibility and include weekend and holiday work.
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar role is preferred.
- General understanding of biosecurity protocols
- Does not have or maintain regular contact with birds, pigs or cattle.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual a plus!
Responsibilities
- Maintain bio-security practices used for vehicle and visitors.
- Maintain contact with management as needed regarding visitors and guests on the farm.
- Spray incoming traffic with provided disinfectant.
- Communication with ingoing and outgoing loads.
- Cleaning up around the farm, weed whacking, spraying, closing/opening outside fan doors depending on outdoor temperatures.
- Ask appropriate questions of incoming trucks, vendors, visitors as needed to maintain bio-security practices.
- Receive and send out any packages/mail as needed.
