As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will focus on access control, monitoring entry and exit points, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible to provide exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors to verify credentials and provide guidance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
