As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading utilities location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you navigate the site, respond to various situations, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and training to address each situation.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any irregularities or security-related concerns observed during patrols or while stationed at assigned posts.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.
Interact professionally with personnel, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and procedures specific to the utilities environment, including adherence to armed post requirements.
