As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout the property, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Carry and maintain assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related activities, incidents, and patrols in a timely and accurate manner.
