Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Naples, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate's degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any concerns according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Complete detailed reports and documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
Adhere to all site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out assigned duties as an armed security professional.
