As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to promote a secure environment, and interact with staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism and empathy. This position requires both armed responsibilities and driving duties. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.
Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or patients to provide assistance and relay important information as needed.
Document security-related incidents, observations, and/or activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client records.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during incidents as required by location protocols.
