As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Enforcement in Morganton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, delivering outstanding customer service, and communicating with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the government facility.
• Follow all protocols for carrying and managing assigned firearms in accordance with post requirements and applicable regulations.
• Complete required documentation and reports regarding patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Collaborate with site staff and local law enforcement as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
