About The Position

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and/or assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support controlled entry and exit procedures in accordance with site requirements for a government location.
• Maintain a visible presence while following all post orders, use of force guidelines, and Allied Universal standards related to an armed patrol assignment.
