About The Position

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Anadarko, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card/license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, control areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access control concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations according to site protocols.
Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and readiness during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
