About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Hoffman, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or unauthorized access.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and/or local authorities as required.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents as they arise, following established protocols.
