Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving position offers the opportunity to interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or in response to incidents.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter potential disruptions and/or security-related violations.
Support law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
