Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol in Burgaw, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service within a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a secure environment, and interact professionally with visitors and staff. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities, allowing you to play a crucial part in supporting a caring, people-first culture. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor for security-related risks and report any unusual activity or incidents in accordance with company and site protocols.
Carry out access control procedures, verifying identification and authorizations as required for entry into restricted areas.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed, following established protocols.
Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help protect people, property, and assets at the location.
