About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you'll play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining order at a government location. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
Interact with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public in a courteous manner while upholding security-related protocols.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Follow all instructions and procedures for armed patrol duties, adhering to applicable regulations and company policies.
