Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site-specific protocols.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with store management and staff to support a secure environment for customers and employees.
