As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, or requests for assistance as part of daily responsibilities.
