As a Security Guard - Armed Healthcare Patrol Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification Texas only.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the security-related needs of the healthcare location.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete detailed incident reports and document observations, activities, and/or irregularities as required by site policies.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols, including those specific to armed personnel, while maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
