As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government-related locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is an armed post. You will conduct routine patrols and engage with the public, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and offer reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to site protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring the flow of individuals entering and/or leaving the premises.
Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately in daily reports and/or incident logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Respond to alarms and other emergency situations, coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
