As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol position.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or potential security-related threats encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Support emergency response efforts, including coordinating with local law enforcement or first responders when necessary.
