As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift according to company and client requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required for incidents or emergencies at the location.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications related to armed patrol duties.
