About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Government Facility in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying identification and authorizations as required.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and requirements as needed by the location.
