As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication. You will help identify and report security-related concerns, support store teams and guests with customer service, and document activities clearly. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification Texas Only is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail and/or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting law enforcement, medical, and/or management support as needed.
• Monitor customer and employee activity for policy violations, theft-related behavior, and/or disorderly conduct, and document observations and actions in reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and post orders, including completing required logs and inspections.
