As a Security Guard - Armed Government Facility Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents at a government location. This post requires both driving and carrying a firearm. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or the public while upholding site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or issues that arise during the shift according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, especially while on patrol, to help to deter and respond to any potential security-related incidents.
