Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Aero Facility Patrol in De Leon Springs, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, in accordance with site protocols for an aerospace and defense location.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential threats and report any suspicious activity immediately.
Operate and maintain assigned security equipment and firearms in compliance with company and location-specific regulations.
