As a Security Guard - Armed Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a visible presence. Requirements
- Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
- Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Operate dispatch systems to receive and communicate information regarding security-related activities at the site.
- Coordinate with on-site personnel and emergency responders during various situations, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatched calls, incidents, and activities as required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors at the location.
- Support regular and/or random patrols by coordinating and dispatching security personnel as needed throughout the premises.
- Assist Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement with information as required during incidents or investigations.
