About The Position

As a Security Guard - Active Clearance Patrol in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned aerospace and logistics locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
A combined total of three or more years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include areas related to aerospace, defense, logistics, and distribution operations.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Communicate professionally with client staff, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
