As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document activities, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and authorization as required, and report access control concerns through the chain of command.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and assist with investigations as requested.
