Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, checking credentials, processing visitor entry, and maintaining access logs per site requirements.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems and/or communication channels; report unusual activity and escalate concerns according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, work areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
