As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, then document observations and incidents in required reports and logs.
• Support site operations by communicating clearly over radio and/or phone, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and following post orders and escalation protocols.
