As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points by screening employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials, and following site procedures for permitted items. You will stay visible, document activity, and communicate clearly with operations teams to help support smooth, on-time workflows. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, vehicles, and/or property entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location, which may include verifying credentials, checking identification, and conducting bag, package, and/or metal detection screening per post orders.
• Control access points by monitoring entry lanes, doors, and screening equipment, documenting activity, and escalating irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and time-sensitive situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
