As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and customer needs with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management activities, including verifying identification as directed, issuing temporary badges as required, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services, and completing required notifications.
• Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to the oncoming officer and/or supervisor, and support security-related operations for a technology-focused location.
