About The Position

As a Security DoD Patrol Officer in Manchester, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping maintain a professional presence across assigned areas. You will conduct routine patrols, document observations, and communicate clearly while delivering customer service that reflects our caring, people-first culture. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle as needed to support patrol coverage, teamwork, and integrity-focused, security-related operations.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, manufacturing or research areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, documenting entries and exits, and directing individuals to approved destinations per site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems, respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete reports and logs, document incidents and/or unusual conditions, and support investigations by preserving observations and other relevant information per site policy.
